Snow Blindness

Snow Blindness is a medical condition that refers to the temporary blindness caused by the glare from a snowfield or glacier.

Snow-Blindness is extremely painful and recovery can take several days.

Good quality goggles and sunglasses are a wise investment to prevent snow blindness and (like the Ice Axe) the serious climber will not compromise quality for cost.
