Pulmonary Oedema

Pulmonary Oedema is the medical term given to water accumulation on the lining of the lungs.

Pulmonary Oedema is a condition associated with climbing at high altitude. Retreating to lower altitudes will typically result in the complete recovery of the climber.

The condition can be fatal if ignored.
