Hypoxia
Hypoxia is a medical term that refers to a body’s state when there is a lack of oxygen for the normal functioning of the body.
Generalised hypoxia is the state when the body as a whole has a lack of oxygen. Tissue hypoxia is where a specific area of the body lacks oxygen.
