Avalanche
Avalanche is a natural phenomenon that is the sliding away of a mountain of huge amounts of snow, ice, mud or rock. While most people consider an avalanche to be a surface event it is interesting that major under sea earthquakes can create similar enormous avalanches. These underwater movements of rock are linked to another natural event - the tsunami.
